PRIM is a portable pulse oximeter for non-invasive determination of functional oxygen saturation in human arterial blood (SpO2) and measurement of pulse rate. In a healthy person, a normal arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) level can range from 94%. up to 99%. For people with mild respiratory disease, the SpO2 can be 90%. and more. If the arterial blood oxygen saturation level falls below 90%, the heart rate will drop to 90%. the person should be supplied with supplementary oxygen.<\/p>\n
