Medical Representative Otilija Ivinska
It is not enough to simply manufacture and fit a prosthesis – it is essential to teach the patient how to use it. Support is needed even before the prosthetic process begins. To help people understand that they can return to an almost normal everyday routine, the head of prosthetic services, Otilija, assists with various questions and challenges that may arise.
Lack of information often creates fear, while clear guidance and a plan of action help reduce stress and other negative emotions. The specialist supports the patient comprehensively from the very first day after amputation:
- arranging a place in rehabilitation,
- providing assistance with essential compensatory equipment,
- helping with medical documentation,
- addressing other important concerns.
Otilija continuously improves her qualifications by participating in conferences and seminars. She gains new knowledge to provide the highest-quality support to patients.
