Select® GenuZip® knee splint with zipper

A clasp knee brace with silicone ring stabilises the kneecap in the correct position, while lateral fixators clamp and easily reinforce the knee joint. A zipper on the side of the splint makes it easier to put on/remove the splint. During movement, a silicone dot strip on the top prevents the knee splint from slipping.

Instructions for use:

Stage 1. Fasten the splint in the middle of the calf, so that the silicone ring is in front.

Stage 2. Fasten the splint over the knee joint to get it in the correct position.

Stage 3. Unzip the splint when removing it, then store it fastened until the next use to maintain the correct shape of the splint.

Recommended:

• Sprains of the ligaments and muscles of the knee joint.
• Knee pain.
• Arthrosis of the knee joint.
• Osteoarthritis.
• Sinovit.
• Inflammation of the tendons and joint capsules (bursae) in the knee joint.
• Lateral ligament instability,
• Instability of the pelvis, osteochondropathies. Malposition of the kneecap
• Diseases of articular cartilage.
• For injury prevention.

Contraindications:

• peripheral circulatory disorders,
• Lymphatic disorders,
• Reduced tissue sensitivity,
• Local skin diseases,
• increased sensitivity to raw material components

Further instructions:
It is not recommended to wear the splint at night to avoid disturbing blood circulation. Unless your doctor prescribes wearing the splint for a longer period of time. It is recommended to remove the splint as soon as possible in case of numbness.

It is not recommended to use creams and ointments when using the splint, as they can damage the splint material.

The splint is washed with soap and water, drained and left to dry.
