The abdominopelvic splint is used to strengthen the anterior abdominal wall. The brace provides balanced pressure in the abdomen and lower chest. The Velcro strap helps to provide the right amount of tension and the elastic material adapts to the shape of the body.

Recommended:

  • After abdominal surgery,
  • For abdominal hernias,
  • For abdominal muscle weakness,
  • Abdominal and peritoneal lesions.

 

Contraindications:

  • peripheral circulatory disorders,
  • Lymphatic disorders,
  • Reduced tissue sensitivity,
  • Local skin diseases,
  • increased sensitivity to raw material components.

 

Further instructions:
It is not recommended to wear the splint at night to avoid disturbing blood circulation. Unless your doctor prescribes wearing the splint for a longer period of time. In case of numbness, it is recommended to remove the splint as soon as possible.

It is not recommended to use creams and ointments when using the splint, as they can damage the splint material.

The splint is washed with soap and water, drained and left to dry.
